I started trying this product to reverse the signs of aging and I was told to do that in your early 20′s. I’m 22 with multiple skin problems. When I started using this product, I did start to see results within a week. My pores had gotten noticeable smaller and my skin felt more moisturized and seemed to be glowing, even without makeup. After 2 weeks, however, I noticed I started to break out even more so. I had quit using my usual acne wash system to use this product. I figured it might be ok because the cream cleanser had salicylic acid which usually works for me, in regards to acne. But, even with the salicyclic acid, and continued use of this product, Ive noticed my face breaking out even more. I think for me, because I tend to break out easily with certain products, I will start integrating both this and my acne wash system to completely satisfy my needs. :)

So far I’m pleased with the product. I haven’t seen much difference in the amount of fine lines/wrinkles but I’m only 26 and thankfully do not have an abundant amount of wrinkles. I really like the face wash; the small beads exfoliate gently enough to use everyday. The night cream is also light and hasn’t caused any breakouts.

For a long time I had read about the science of skin care and how most skin care products are a sham. My regimen consisted of a simple clean cleaner, and basic moisturizer with sun screen. My skin was never a complete mess, but I did get occasional acne (oily T zone, dry cheeks),an uneven tone, and fine lines under eyes. After some convincing from a friend with good skin, I decided to buy the starter trio.
All three products are full size and so buying these together saves a little cash, plus its convenient since olay has tons of product and product lines. Included are a cream cleaner with salicylic acid, a pump day lotion with spf 15, and a basic night cream.
Coming from someone who had a no frills regimen, this set makes a huge difference. I saw my tone improve a lot. My skin looked brighter, pores looked smaller, and tone was more even. Sad to say that I saw no difference in fine lines.

I bought this trio pack last July 2010 and only few days, I already see results in using these products. I really love looking at my face everyday because of the good result such as soft skin, very firm skin and smooth skin too. I loved it!!! Thanks to Olay Total Effects! I will use Olay total Effects from now on….
